SpeedCoach firmware version 2.19 also includes a Bluetooth profile update. Therefore you will have to run the firmware update twice to update the firmware and Bluetooth profile. If you ran the update and did not get 2.19 on your SpeedCoach, please connect again and run the update 1 more time.
This is a guide for using NK LiNK Logbook, including streaming live data, uploading data and reviewing data sessions. Now includes Team Logbook functionality!
Yes, if you upgrade to the Team account, you have the option to private stream the data. Coaches would be able to view all athletes but athletes would not be able to view other athletes. Guests or non Team members would not be able to see any of the data as well. If you turn off the private streaming function, anyone would be able to view the data, including guests and non-team members.
If you are having issues pairing your SpeedCoach to your Android phone in order to Live Stream the data, please update your firmware to version 2.22. If you are still having issues, please try clearing the Bluetooth cache from your phone and restarting. To do so, go to your phone's settings. Then go to Apps or Application Manager. At the top, there is a pull down menu to Show System Apps, select this. Find the app called Bluetooth and select it. Then go into Storage and select Clear Cache. Restart your phone and it should now pair with Logbook
If you upgrade your account to Team, you have the ability to select up to 8 boats (or 8 people in a boat) that are all simultaneously streaming and compare the results side-by-side. Anyone you would like to compare would need to have a separate SpeedCoach/CoxBox GPS streaming to a separate mobile device while using hte app.
As an athlete, you are not permitted to view the sessions in the team account, only the coaches and admin can view those. Therefore you don't have the choice to toggle between personal and team accounts. You can choose the team when uploading data sessions. And you can also choose the team when streaming and can make the live stream private. To ensure you are part of the team, you can go to Account Management and choose My Teams and you should see the team name listed there
Please try this if you are not able to pair your Google Pixel to the Logbook app: Activate the developer mode in Android 13. Then system/developer options/Bluetooth AVRCP-Version. Switch from 1.5 to 1.4.
Leave Developer mode. Done!
Not exactly. You can view streaming data or look at previously uploaded data through a web browser on a Windows or MAC computer by going to this web page: Link Logbook
Unfortunately, the hardware on your mobile device is outdated and is not Bluetooth Peripheral capable. You will need to acquire a new mobile device that is Bluetooth Peripheral capable to pair a SpeedCoach to NK LiNK Logbook.
