Hello, The SpeedCoach communicates with heart rate belts using Bluetooth Low Energy. So any belt with Bluetooth Low Energy will work. Unfortunately the majority of Garmin heart rate belts use ANT+ technology. This is not compatible with the SpeedCoach. Therefore it is a hardware issue and there isn't anything we are able to do to make this compatible. You would need a BLE compatible belt. Regards, Joe Racosky jracosky@nkhome.com
